PRESS: Techno, Realme want to open brand stores in Russia in 2024

MOSCOW, Oct 5 (PRIME) -- Chinese electronics producers Tecno and Realme will open brand stores in Russia in 2024, and experts said the move will help the companies strengthen their presence in the country in promotion and winning the client’s trust, business daily Kommersant reported on Thursday.

Tecno wants to open several pilot brand stores in teamwork with a partner in January–March 2024, the brand’s Sales Director Viktor Kolesnichenko told the daily. He added that “own stores will offer the whole assortment and show clients the entire ecosystem.”

“The brand’s offline presence raises trust and loyalty of the audience,” Kolesnichenko said.

Two sources among retailers and producers said that Realme will also start developing showrooms in Russia in 2024.

Marvel-Distribution confirmed the producer’s interest to the idea of own stores, which “should be considered not so much from the point of view of higher sales, but from the point of view of additional marketing promotion.”

A representative of Chinese vendor Infinix told the daily that the company does not plan to open brand stores in Russia because it is two years only and is not ready for own showrooms.
